The artisan jewelry is finely wrought from an eclectic variety of high-quality materials -- precious and semi-precious gemstones and pearls, mixed with leather, silk, linen, silver, gold.  Each hand-beaded design is beautifully distinct and durably crafted to stand the test of time.
 
 

Alicia has always had a strong interest and talent for jewelry design.  Having worked as an adviser in the financial services industry for over a decade, she left her position to pursue her life’s passion.  Alicia stopped commuting to her corporate job in San Francisco and instead set-up a jewelry design studio in her home.  

Being both artistic and practical, the career change was natural for Alicia. As a result, her business has flourished. Alicia Van Fleteren jewelry began with a small group of loyal clients, but the demand for her limited edition pieces has quickly increased.  

Alicia’s source of inspiration is limitless. She finds inspiration from within herself and from the environment—where she is always finding new color combinations and shapes. Her collections are characterized by creativity and elegance, and also from her eye for putting together gemstones and metals in a creative, elegant way.

Just as Alicia has evolved as an individual, so has her jewelry line. Her talent and eye for design has naturally led to collections that are more sophisticated and cohesive than ever before.

Alicia passionately believes in giving back to her community. She supports many local charities and participates in many fundraising efforts.  Some of the organizations that have been aided through her jewelry fundraising events are -- Art in Action, San Mateo Family Services, Maine Coon Adoptions, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Toys for Tots of San Mateo County, Foothill Auxiliary, and Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools and programs.

When not designing in her studio, you can find Alicia on the tennis court, looking for inspiration in nature, or hanging out with her hubby and her orange tabby cat.
