This week I went to visit The Butter Paddle in Los Gatos, California.  Nestled in the heart of downtown, the unique shop is run entirely by 70 volunteers.  They do all the buying, staffing, and displays.  All proceeds from the store are donated to EMQ Families First. (www.emqff.org)  EMQ, aka Eastfield Ming Quong, has been helping children and families in crisis for over 140 years.  They currently provide mental health and social services to over 6,600 children and their families in Santa Clara County and over 16,000 statewide.
